Preparation of your recycling
As technology improves, much less preparation of recyclables is necessary. Here are a few tips on how to make your recycling as easy as possible:
- Follow all recycling guidelines.
- Please rinse containers. We’re not looking for perfection; we just want to keep odors and pest problems at a minimum.
- Labels do not need to be removed.
- Keep caps on plastic bottles and containers.
- Place all recycling items loose into your bin/cart. Do NOT bag recyclables.
- Flatten cardboard or paperboard boxes, to allow for more space in your bin/cart.
